If you order on-line, the boxes will be despatched without print and it may be too late to stop them if you e-mail us separately asking for print.

- Adding a logo enables you to personalise stock gift boxes without the large volume commitment and long lead time needed for a fully made to order box.
- 24 boxes per size is the minimum and 144 boxes or more (boxes are all packed in 12's) is the most economic quantity due to fixed origination costs that apply, no matter how few or how many boxes are printed.
- Printing is offered on all gift boxes available from stock. Mailing cartons cannot be printed.
- Stock boxes are already manufactured, so printing options are limited to the outside and inside lid of the box only.
- We can use foil, print ink to match a Pantone colour, or deboss your logo. Multiple print colours and CMYK print are also possible depending on registration, design complexity and box colour.
- We can’t bleed print off the edges of the box, we need a min. 1cm - 2cm border from the outer edge of the print to the edges of the box lid.
- Allow around 2-3 weeks for custom printing from receipt of useable artwork and payment to delivery of printed boxes. If you submit an on-line quotation via the estimate form on our printing page you will have the opportunity to specify the delivery date you would ideally like.
Foldabox gift boxes are manufactured from mostly recycled materials that account for approximately 92% of the product by weight.
The greyboard (the rigid board in sections under the paper to create the underlying structure of the box) is 100% recycled and certified.
The paper coverings using artpaper (black, white, pale pink and pale blue) and special papers for all other box colours are certified.
Natural kraft paper used on our Natural Kraft Gift Boxes is 60% recycled. It is not possible to use 100% recycled paper as it cracks on the joints.
The paper on white, black, pale pink and pale blue boxes has matt lamination. The paper on these boxes should ideally be removed before recycling.
Magnets should also ideally be removed before recycling the gift box.
Ribbons and decorative closures should be removed. They are recyclable but consider reusing or donating them before throwing them away.
Mailing cartons are made form 67% recycled materials and are fully recyclable.
Boxes are REACH compliant.

We only sell folding gift boxes because they have huge space-saving advantages and as a result are more eco-friendly. Folding gift boxes take up between 50% - 95% (depending on the box size) less space in storage and transport than an equivalent size non-folding rigid gift box.

Our aim is that gift boxes be put to good use for many years before they finally meet the end of their useful life. Do your bit and encourage your customers to regift, reuse or repurpose first and only recycle as the last resort.
Recycling is essential and should be at the forefront of everyone's mind. However, recycling is not carbon neutral. If we want to make a positive difference to our environment, then not throwing useful items away in the first place is the best option.
No one likes throwing away a nice box. Invest in good quality packaging that end users will want to keep and engage with your customers on innovative repurposing ideas to prolong your gift packaging lifespan for as long as possible.

- Dispatch is made the same day as you order, if we receive your order on-line via our website before 1.30pm Monday – Friday.
- Orders received after 1.30pm, during a weekend or national holiday will be dispatched the next working day.
- Delivery costs are weight based. Once you have added all the items to your basket you can proceed to checkout and confirm the courier cost calculated on your total basket weight before progressing to payment.
- Delivery is made via a signed-for courier on a next working day service but this is not guaranteed. 98% of deliveries are made the following day but more remote locations, or during busy times, delivery can take 2-3 days. Delivery to Northern Ireland can take 3-4 days.
- Accessory items are designed to be ordered together with gift boxes. If you order accessories only they will be despatched via post not courier and can take 3-5 days to deliver.
- Swatch card only orders will be despatched via post.
- We offer the option for guaranteed and timed delivery but please ensure your order is placed before 1.30pm cut-off in order for this timing to be effective for delivery the next day.
- Delivery is via a signed-for courier service. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address you provide or delivery could be delayed, especially residential home deliveries.
- Please only sign for the number of packages you physically receive. Your consignment may be made up of multiple packages.
- Do not sign for, or take delivery of evidently damaged packages.
- If you opt to change the delivery details or, 'leave in a safe place' via the tracking link, please be aware this is at your own risk.
- Revisions to the original delivery information you provide can result in a delay or may not be possible.
- It may not be possible to change or cancel your order once placed, depending on where in the automated picking process your order is. Even if your order had not physically left our warehouse, it may be picked and packed on one of multiple pallets ready for despatch.
- We cannot be held liable for refund, credit or compensation due to delivery delays beyond our control. Goods are despatched in good condition and good faith, we will refund or replace damaged goods but cannot accept claims of compensation or consequential loss.
- Please order goods in plenty of time to avoid missing your own customer commitments.
- Contact Support immediately or complete our on-line Delivery Query Form if you have any queries regarding your delivery, or a delivery shortage.
- Please notify us of any damage or defects within 7 days of delivery.
- Prices on our website are wholesale trade prices.
- We offer discounts based on the total net value spend of your order, excluding carriage and VAT.
- If you spend £450.00 or more enter the discount code bigorderdiscount at checkout and 5% will be deducted automatically from your box order value.
- If you spend £700.00 or more, enter the discount code reallybigorderdiscount at checkout and 10% will be deducted automatically from your box order value.
- We offer an automatic 10% discount to charities and hospitals irrespective of order value. Please contact Support@foldabox.co.uk so we can give you a unique discount code to use at checkout. Please confirm your registered charity number or website details.
- These discounts apply to plain stock boxes ordered via the website.
- Order value discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other special price offers or promotions.
- Discounts cannot be issued retrospectively.
- Sorry, we cannot send samples free of charge due to the very high number of daily requests.
- You can buy individual or multiple samples of any gift box or accessory.
- Samples are the same as bulk stock but may be from a different batch. See our Help Desk FAQ's for more detailed information.
- We recommend you buy a sample before buying bulk to ensure the colour, size and quality meet your requirements.
