In Rebecca's Own Words...

I have always been very creative/artistic with A* Grades in school for Art & Design.

I didn't really know what to do with it when leaving school, so at the age of 17 began a banking apprenticeship scheme.

Although I always wanted to ‘do something' with my creativity... making it to Team Manager level and being very successful over a 12 year period in the bank, made it even harder for me venture into a new and more creative career.

It was only when I planned my own Wedding in 2009, making every little detail including the stationery that I realised how much enjoyment I got out of doing it.

I found my passion! My flare for designing and making had again returned!

Suddenly the was no stopping me. Friends loved my creations so much they asked me to do their weddings.

The requests for weddings seemed to ripple through word of mouth and before I knew it I was making wedding stationery and accessories for friends of friends of friends!

There were a lot of late nights making weddings from my little dining room table, whilst simultaneously holding down my banking job.

Over 4 years, (whilst also giving birth to my 2 little boys in this time too, lol) I realised I had eventually built the foundations of my very own Wedding Business!

The time had come to take the plunge and I decided to leave my 12 year career in the bank and pursue my dream. 4 years now in business... and I've never really had much time to look back. It’s been the busiest 4 years of my life!

Creations have never just stopped at weddings, I also love to create keepsake boxes for babies, Birthdays, Christmas.... whatever the customer wants, the customer gets :-) 

Working from my home studio works for me! I can work hours convenient for me and my family. It’s a constant juggle but I love the time I get to spend with my two little boys - now 5 and 7 years old.

It may have taken me 12 years to finally find my passion but it was definitely worth the wait :-)

I love Foldabox because of the excellent quality and gorgeous choice of colours that my clients LOVE! Natural Kraft are perfect for a rustic wedding theme that are soooo popular. I especially like the stunning new shades of pastel pink and blue for new borns... my new Mums To Be love them! Baby Keepsake boxes form part of my baby shower package too and look absolutely gorgeous displayed on the day.
