In Barbara's Own Words...

My name is Barbara, I’m mum to two little ones, and I am the Designer and Owner at Beau and Bella. 

After University I worked in Human Resources for many years, as well as setting up and running my own wedding venue styling business.  

I started crafting whilst on maternity leave, initially by making keepsake jewellery for family and friends, which proved so popular that I was soon being asked if I could make personalised items for friends of friends and extended family members. And so my designing journey began...

I quickly realised that I had a new found passion for not just making, but a wider love of designing things.  That led me into a role as a Product Design Assistant for a leading UK giftware manufacturer, where I had the privilege of working on projects that went on to be nominated for Gift of the Year.

With Beau and Bella, I have brought together my love of crafting, designing and experience of working in the wedding and gift industry to create a range of the highest quality gift boxes and keepsakes.

We are proud to work with Foldabox to offer what we believe are the best quality gift boxes in the UK.  We particularly love how Foldabox are on-trend with their ranges and colour options. A great example of this comes with the launch of the rose gold box, which for us, works great with our lustrous metallics, and we are seeing that rose gold continues to be a strong leader for Weddings in 2018 and 2019.

The ability to add different ribbon colours is hugely popular and makes matching wedding theme colours a great additional selling benefit.
